Great looking raised beds and good service.

• An enquiry I made prior to ordering was answered promptly and helpfully. Delivery was on the day I requested. The courier company phoned the day before to confirm delivery which was helpful but were only able to give me an 8am to 5pm delivery slot which was a bit frustrating. When I phoned them on the day they were able to be more precise, giving an estimated 2 hour slot which was useful. The delivery driver was very helpful. Although it was supposed to be a 'kerbside' delivery he brought the pallet as far up the drive as he could until a narrow side gate prevented him from getting any further.

Successful Retaining Wall/Steps

• Preparing the area and ensuring the ground is level prior to installing the wall/steps was the most time consuming part of the project. However it is worthwhile ensuring you have a solid level surface and plenty of space for the wall/buttresses. All in all I am very happy with the finished product and would have no hesitation recommending Woodblocx to anyone for garden projects: walls, steps and raised beds.

Bespoke designed planter

Building blocks for grownups!

• Custom designed with the client’s ideas for the site in mind, it came together well and looks rustically robust. The clear instructions and layer by layer fitting guide suppled made the job of building efficient. The nature of the task decrees a fair amount of ‘clout’, but do trust the designer’s colour coded ‘map’ when piecing the kit together. Two comments: The metal brackets used to secure buttresses do have an effect on fitting, as they are not recessed between block layers. Their accumulative thickness means longer blocks may not sit so well. They tend to ‘rock’ over the spot. A way round is to cut the block at this point, to allow the ends to sit level with those before and after. Secondly, I suggest that the holes tin the capping, should also have the recess ring to allow the capping to sit snugly onto top block layer. While the capping is now tightly on, there is a slight unnecessary gap between it and the top block layer. I haven’t included a photo for security reasons, but it does look good, made more of, with the addition of fence downlighting.

A very clever way to build raised flower beds

• WoodBlocX is an ingenious way to build raised beds in a garden. Effectively it is building wooden raised bed frames in a a similar way to Lego bricks. The wooden blocks have a square cross section of 10cm x10cm and come in various lengths. Each layer of the blocks is secured by plastic dowels which ensure a very rigid structure to be quickly built. The website is superb and enables a user to think what type of raised bed layout that they would like. When a rough plan is submitted to WoodBlocX a very clever designer produces a superb 3D picture of your rough plan and a detailed layer by layer of how to build the structure. This only takes a few days and once ordered the delivery soon arrives on a very secure pallet. Construction is a pleasure for any competent DIY enthusiast which can only be dampened by the atrocious wet weather that I encountered during the task. Nevertheless I did ensure that the the structure was level and looked like the original design.

Fabulous Raised Beds

• The website is easy to use and you can change the sizes easily to check the prices. Always despatched quickly with plenty of communication by email. The delivery company is Palletways and they always call to book in the day of delivery. If I am not at home the helpful driver leaves the pallet for me exactly where I asked for it to be left. The pallets are always well packed to ensure the items arrive in good condition. Clear assembly instructions are sent by email. Just love this company and their products.

• Arrived on date requested, driver very good and put the delivery in garage for me to protect from rain. Instructions clear and easy to follow, Assembly straightforward and no issues. The retaining plates could have clearance holes to make fitting over the dowels easier. Problem I found was difficulty in fitting dowels through the holes, a larger hole would be better and this wouldn't be detrimental to the design. Other than that very good and people who have seen love the detail and say it looks nicer than sleepers

Disappointed given price paid and online pictures

• Like custom build and clear comms on delivery. 4* as the delivery driver firstly came a day early when no one was in and threatened to leave the delivery on the pavement and leave. Then on delivery, I was surprised they just leave the wood on the pavement and go. Took ages to transport the wood into the garden.

Garden pond for Lego enthusiasts.

• Slight delivery delay (3 days), but not a problem. Downloaded instructions easy to use for wooden building blocks, although instructions regarding liner a bit incomplete/vague (eg. No hints or tips regarding making holes in liner through which to pass the final layer of pegs - in the end I used a craft knife, cutting around a 2 p coin). Overall, however, very satisfied with the end result.

• Found on line and looked good. Being able to design the size I wanted was the main reason I chose them. I had a few queries and phoned and got great feedback. I ordered on line a raised bed 2 * 1 meter approx. It arrived as I wanted 4 days later. The courier service was excellent and the guy left it where I asked. I completed the build within one day. They make it quite clear to have a flat service. I was putting it on soil so did the best I could. I could have done better but with a bit of adjustment during the build, finished. Spending time preparing the site is a must. The raised bed looks great.

• Recently received my new raised bed. Ordering on the website was fairly easy however one thing that was slightly annoying was the delivery date which changed a few times. One date was offered on the web page before I ordered then after I made the order it changed again and once again when I was asked to pick a day for delivery it changed.. I did have to contact customer services on 2 occasions and the staff were very quick to respond. The guy who delivered it was also excellent. The product itself was pretty easy to put together on my own and looks great now it's been put together.

Looks solid and very presentable and not difficult to construct

• My main concern was whether at my age (84) I would be able to handle the delivery and construction. The answer is Yes. Because no component is unduly large, I was able to build an L-shaped pair of beds for herbs that will serve the purpose exactly as intended. LEGO FOR GROWN UPs

• WoodBlocX is a very cleaver system of pre-cut wood "Blocks" rather like LEGO. Oncde you have decided you want a raised bed get in touch with the staff and they will work out exactly what you'll need. Your order will arrive on a pallet, all you need is a lump hammer (or rubber mallet) and the page by page (layer by layer) instructions. I previously ordered and built a large (eight layer) "L" shaped raised bed on my from hard stand and decided I wanted to extend it to a "U" Shaped raised bed. Provided a rough plane and very soon after was give a plane and a price both of which were very acceptable. Rest assured that if you have (Unlikely) an issue with any part of your project then a quick email to Scotland will result in a fix. I am very happy with my project and have no hesitation in recommending WoodBlocX for your garden project(s).

More than happy

• We ordered 2 large raised beds, reasonably easy to put together. Came with spares (Which I made a small herb garden from!) I did have to email about the delivery as I had not received confirmation from Palletways who deliver on their behalf, however I had a response straight away from WoodBlocX which clearly prompted Palletways to confirm a delivery date/time. Renewing a WoodblocX Raised Bed

• A replacement raised bed has been purchased. The original lasted only 7 years but was not lined at the outset. This in itself was disappointing. On removal of the original it was very rotten! The new material was delivered on time and had a number of spare pieces. It went together well. Replacing an existing bed with a new one was more complex than erecting from scratch particularly for the strengthening spurs with pins as these need digging out. In addition, we need to devise a means of keeping the soil in place once the original bed was removed. We did this by sliding slates down between wood and soil and it worked! The new bed went together well and the plan was very good. The key was levelling before building. Liner and slate have been used between wood and soil on this occasion. Liner has also been put over all strengthening spurs.

• Used Woodblocx previously so I know the score re quality, ease of build etc. Black Friday discount didn't go wrong either! Delivered promptly as per usual. Good communication and customer service from the courier to boot. Buildt during the really cold spell but it fitted together perfectly. Had to build into a slope so built on a part bed of sleepers with flat plates screwed in between the sleepers and the woodblocx plus 4 hole sleeper spikes fixed to both. Solid as a rock! Ready for veg planting next year

Great system

• I used WoodblocX to build some retaining walls and it's a great system, I have mobility problems but this is easy to manage and ultimately very satisfying when complete. Curved edges are tricky but my advice would be to read the instructions on receipt of delivery and then read again when starting the job, customer support is also very good. I would recommend without hesitation.

A reliable service but delivery could be better.

• The woodblocX concept is excellent. The detailed instructions are spot on and easy to follow and putting it together is child's play as demonstrated by our grandchildren, 13y, 10y and 3y! Our granddaughter was very good at putting the pegs in for her older cousins. We would have given 5 stars if the delivery times had been more accurate. Although we had asked for a date several days more than the minimum it didn't arrive on the date so be prepared for the delivery to be at least one day later than asked for. WoodblocX does say it may not be on the day requested. Although the video says there is a Saturday delivery, our distribution centre did not offer a Saturday. We also had to phone to find out when the delivery would be as we had no notification.

Pond not really up to scratch and poor instructions didn't help

• The general instructions listed on the website weren't really suitable for the pond I bought. Had to write multiple emails to get a limited step by step PDF, and finally was given a more useful Youtube link after I'd built the thing. The pond liner bunches horribly though and can't be made flat — the video showed no solution to this. Also, if you don't put full weight on the dowel removal tool to get it into the slot before turning, you'll also wreck your chances of getting it out as it just goes round and round. This isn't made clear and ended up having to saw five dowels off.

We have checked the confirmation email that was sent to you at the time of the order and can confirm the PDF build instructions were included. The liner provided is a universal size which is to be cut to length in order to fit the pond purchased by the customer. Cutting the liner to the correct length will minimize any bunching described. If you require a new liner or any additional dowels or blocks, please send some photographs of the problem to us at [email protected] and we will be happy to send you replacements.

You too can build a pond!

• Great to have all the tools in a neat bag! The Lump Hammer did the job really well and has been used a lot since for other projects. I did have a bit of difficulty lining up pegs and holes but got there in the end. The capping mitre joints didn't align perfectly because of this so I just filled in the gaps. I also didnt' use the capping brackets, but the pond is fine. If I can build a pond solo as a 69 year old woman, I think anyone can! I had a bit of a struggle with the enormous liner in a small space and there was a lot left over that I will have to find a use for. So glad I ordered a deep pond!

Only problem was that we had to unpack the pallet to carry parts to rear garden and they were subsequently rained on resulting in some parts swelling and not fitting correctly. After drying out under cover we were able to complete the build. As these are made from softwood I perhaps should have been aware of this potential problem. Next time I will make sure to keep the parts dry until required.

Good Product

• Order dispatched very promptly - and was actually delivered a day early. Fortunately, I was home to take delivery. I had ordered a large rectangular raised bed with crop protectors - assembly was very easy. I was building on an existing concrete base and was provided with angle brackets to fix to the ground. The only screws that were provided were wood screws and I contacted customer services and explained the problem. They said they would send me the required parts. Unfortunately, what I received was more wood screws! This is my second order with Woodblocx and, on both occasions, I have had items omitted from my order. Hence, the 4 stars. Curious as to what level of checking goes on prior to dispatch.

A beautiful addition to our garden

• It's a very beautiful addition to our garden. I have always known I'd have a waterlily pond (inspired by Kew Gardens' outdoors water lily ponds) and my four tiny gold fish absolutely love the bigger apartment.. Quality order

• I was short of a couple of block on my order. This was quickly resolved and sent via 48hr courier. Site preparation is key. Wall and beds fairly simple to erect. When using spikes in "soft" ground it's a good idea to ensure there are not stones in the way of the spike. If it gets redirected this can upset the level/setting of the block.

Briliant addition to the Garden

• Excellent with easy to follow plans adding the second level on top of the first was quite difficult as the ground was uneven. This was rectified by getting Post-create to level the ground out and trying again. not many issues after that and the result is in the photo, also found googling filling a raised bed a plus as its amazing how you can fill it without the expense of soil all the way.

Small pond

• My experience in buying a WoodBlocX feature has been a pleasure from start to finish, it was easy to order and came within a few days. I was informed of the delivery date and was contacted a few days before and on the morning of my delivery. The feature I chose was to be used as a pond and does the job great it was very easy to build (even for me) and I am now obsessed. I am waiting for my liner to settle before fixing the capping properly but I am over the moon and would highly recommend getting a WoodBlocX feature whatever you are going to use it for.

Good product - let down in other ways

• While I really like the product, the delivery service was poor. System not updated to state when it was going to be delivered. Only called to provide a date after the estimated delivery date, just poor communication. I feel that Woodblocx should assist with this, not just wash their hands of it once it has left them. Also, I ordered too much of the lining. I feel like WoodBlocx should indicate how much you require for the size of raised bed you have ordered. Wasted £30.

Rest was like fitting large Lego blocks until the coping where we just couldn’t line up the holes. Lots of fiddling and it was finished.

• We were able to specify the size of raised bed we wanted. Easy to order and delivery prompt and efficient. All parts were carefully wrapped and secured on a pallet. Everything was there plus a few spare pieces in case of breakages. Easy to follow on line manual. Everything slotted into place. Rather too much of the one-size liner for it, but we were so pleased with the end result that we may order another bed and use the rest of the liner!

• We have just built our second raised bed, the first used as a water feature. Both were fairly easy to construct but on both beds we abandoned using the plastic joiners on the top edges because we could not get them lined up and so screwed them into place. Overall we are very pleased with them and I’m looking forward to planting up the new one.

• I have now built 4 raised beds using WoodBlocX. Delivery was very quick and efficient. Assembly of simple rectangular beds was easy and straightforward. I built my beds directly on to a soil base. The critical thing is to make sure the base is absolutely level otherwise fitting the blocks together can become tricky.

Plans supplied matched all requirements. All went well, no problems.

• Planning supplied matched exactly what I needed. Build was on top of existing 10mm gravel (on sloping ground), so levelling off was only difficult part of the build. The ground slope meant that lowest build level was 1 course lower than whole area, so this meant L1 was only half size of L2. But after that, all went well. Final top copings not added yet due to weather constraints, but can't see any problems there.

• Ordering, design, communications and delivery was excellent. I learned from the initial installation of rectangular beds and followed that with a custom design quadrant. The instructions were comprehensive, but difficult to keep track of and to always identify from the colour coding. I’m sure improvements could be made here.

Good but not quite perfect.

• Delivery is excellent and timely. Any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently but they do not occur very often. I have had 6 purchases and only one gave a problem with a block that was not fitting well. My main concern and the only reason you did not score a five is that the instructions do not address the liner!

Pond replaced

• The service was good and the delivery was on time. Only draw back is the holes on the timbers for the dowels are not central on some of the blocks therefore they don’t line up properly in places. This also causes the tops to misalign in the corners. Finish still looks good.

• I was unaware that the blocks would be delivered in such a raw state, unfinished different sizes within the two sizes provided. This meant that at times it was difficult to line blocks and fit. The holes in the blocks were sometime tight and did not line-up. Top fixing plates had to be altered and did not fit over pegs. Top rails were difficult to fit

Disappointing

• I was advised delivery date so we waited in until approx 15.30 when I phoned to advise that date had just been changed. I had been checking it all day. Young lady I spoke to was excellent and said I would get a phone call from delivery depot. I was not impressed. Female asked are you in tomorrow morning Friday. I advised not to deliver between 11 and 3 as there would be no parking due to Mosque. I had advised this when I ordered. knock on the door at 13.32 just as one lot of prayers was finishing. Driver got pallet as near to our alley as he could although it blocked the pavement. I said it didn't matter. Driver was good I didn't ask if he got message about when to deliver. The wood was very disappointing looked nothing like the photos. I was surprised how green and wet a lot of the blocks were. We are putting it together now as warm weather has now dried it. I chose your product, because although it was a lot dearer that others it looked the best quality. However I am now unsure if any of the other companies cheaper products would been just as good? Would I recommend your product? I am unsure. They look more like railway sleepers than pine. I really do not believe we have pine although my husband does not want me to say it.

It is possible to cut them down, but I do appreciate that this may be excessive for some. Very happy with Woodblocx raised bed, but……

• The correct raised bed was delivered on the promised date. My husband checked all the components were there and left it as you see it, on the lawn!!! Nothing wrong so far. Rest of the pegs etc are safe in the shed. The coloured directions copied from your site are very good. But as far as we are concerned , a couple in their 70’s, it would have been helpful to us, if the blocks could have been marked on the tops either yellow or mauvey/browns to correspond with printed directions. The markings would not be seen as they would be covered by the next row or capping. As I am the practical one of us and as l have never done this before I do not fancy crawling around on the grass with a dodgy knee sorting everything out. Don’t get me wrong, if this turns out ok I will be back for another one or two even. I am really excited to get this up and running. This is not a complaint just pointing out that not every thing fits every person.

• This product is well thought through and very well made. Assembly is very straightforward with clear instructions. As we were making a pond we were very careful with levels. Elected to get a box welded butyl liner which simplified installation and looks very neat. It’s definitely worth checking holes for the odd bit of wood chip left over from manufacturing. The plastic dowels interlock and make for a very strong structure. Supplied with some extra wood pieces and plastic dowels in case of mistakes. 100% happy and recommend.

• The website was very informative and made it easy to decide what we wanted and how it would fit into our garden. The order process was straightforward and delivery followed a few days later. We have built the raised bed on what had been a sloping pathway but we had levelled out the location beforehand. Once we were satisfied that the bottom row was perfectly level and in the exact location we wanted, assembly was relatively simple and then we lined the insides before adding the capping. It has since been filled with top soil and compost and the first veg plants are in and looking good..! It looks great and we have no hesitation in recommending this product and the company. We might be back for something else very soon to install a different feature in another part of the garden.

Good results, but…..

• Overall pretty good, but bought 2 items the same and expected these to be packed as 2 separate kits, but completely mixed together. Made it that much more difficult to sort out the individual kits before assembly. After assembly we were left with 14 assorted wooden blocks and fittings. Took 2 of us 2 half days to build these. Because they are semicircular the blocks do not fit together exactly to get the shape and when you get the top it very difficult to fit the final caps in place. Instructions not clear, don’t see the sense in colour coding as none of the blocks are coloured. End result looks good though, but for the money could have been more user friendly.

Poor quality wood and workmanship

• Delivery was on time. However, beyond that the Woodblocx experience has been terrible. The wood was packed wet and delivered soaking with some pieces covered in mould. The blocks were different widths and not all the holes were central. The finish was terrible with ends requiring sanding (especially on the capping pieces) and some holes not fully drilled. I would not recommend and would not reorder.

• I bought Woodblox for a raised bed for growing vegetables. The instructions were good and the coloured plan helpful, although the plan on the page was at an angle and I had to keep thinking which side was which. The plan on the last page was much better because it was straight on the page. The first row of Woodblox was straightforward but it became more difficult, especially with the longer blox on the second row. The dowels in the first row didn't always line up with the holes in the blox for the ssecond row. . My fault I am sure, but you have to be very precise with levels. I found it easier to put the dowels into the upper block and then put the pointed ends into the holes in the lower level. I bought a second one which was much easier second time. They look good.

• The blocks were of varying sizes and the holes needed to align but there were no instructions as to what order to place them in and how to tackle the corners so it would knit. I would recommend it for smaller projects. Large projects require more than one person with muscles.

I have had to knock off a star as in spite of Woodblock assuring me and marking the paper work their deliverer still came in a large vehicle and the poor driver had to struggle to get to me. He was outstanding and managed with the help of my neighbour. I spoke to Palletline the day before delivery and was told that the paperwork was marked so not Woodblocx's fault and I know you say kerbside delivery to maybe should not have ordered.

• It has proved MUCH harder than I thought to put this together. Partly my fault because the ground was not level and that took loads of preparation. Then I found when I hit the stakes in that if they hit a stone on the way down they went crooked and put the whole thing out of alignment again. I am now stuck trying to get a stake out. Raised beds planters

• Second big purchase, easy to build following the instructions. You have to cut the plastic dowels to fit the coping which is time consuming, given the volume they produce you’d have thought that shorter dowels would be provided in the kit. Very sturdy and looks great

• Ordered a pond and retaining wall. Pond liner was missing from delivery but I contacted them and they sent it immediately. The blocks were all wrapped in one pallet so it took a while to work out which ones were pond and which were retaining wall so it would have been good if the two products were packaged separately. • We loved that this product could be ordered to our desired dimensions. This prevented us needing to cut down any large lengths of wood. The raised bed was really easy to build. You do need to make sure you have the tools recommended. Our only niggle would be the need to trim down dowels in order to put on the top board. Surely a pack of shorter dowels could be provided for this purpose?

Room for improvement.

• The end result is a sturdy raised bed that I am sure will last for may years. However: 1) As reported to, and discussed with WoodBlocX the delivery was a mess. The wrapping was undone and I received a pile of loose bits lying on a pallet. Two bits were missing and eventually found on the floor of the delivery lorry. 2) The wooden blocks shown on the website and in the associated videos look (and are) much nicer than what I received. There was a degree of "rough and ready" about the blocks I received. Several of the bored holes needed tidying up before the dowels would fit properly. Not a disaster but not really premium product material.

Great product and speedy delivery

• I found the product easy to work with because of its intrinsic block design and fixing method.the alternative would have meant large blocks of wood which would need to be cut and fixed together. The system gets over all these issues. It looks good and will look better with plants . Only issue was one flush capping holes did not align with remains of plastic which meant I had to drill bigger holes in the capping and shave parts of the plastic fixings to make it fit.

Very pleased with installation guides and finished product.

• The plans and instructions are excellent and the kit provided matches in every way. Curves are tricky however (mine was a bespoke design but the standard circle may be the same) because 4-hole capping has to fit on the top 2-hole layer. I needed to cut one to force the fit. But the overall effect is still great.

A very good system with helpful ‘how to’ notes and a good personal plan

• A clear and well worked out system. Essential to get first layer level and properly lined up which took time. Cutting the pegs before capping had to be carefully done. Suggestion: create different pegs for last layer eliminating cutting. Some capping mitring not quite true. But final result looked good and I am pleased with it.

Worth it but harder to put together than I anticipated!

• The customer service and help on the telephone from the staff was second to none- so helpful! The YouTube videos with instructions were helpful in how to put the structure together. Structure itself looks nice- only feedback is longer top edging, especially longer sections with 12 wholes can be very difficult to get on! Definitely not as easy as the video showed. Blocks themselves though easy enough once you get the hang of it.

• Woodblox themselves are wonderful, high quality, easy to put together. However and this is a big however... We brought a fish pond, 6ft x 6ft, 2ft... Less than 24 hours after filming the sides visibly were bowing from the pressure of water inside. We have had to put retaining strapping around it which undoes the visual appeal but generally we are still happy, we will allow evaporation to take place and won't have it as filled.

Well happy are we with our garden makeover....

• We have had a first class experience from start to finish with Woodblocx. We had help from Callum re the design, and help from Steve over the telephone. Both gave us as much time and patience as was needed, this we were grateful for. The delivery service was again first class. Then came the building of our new garden. We had help from a local landscaping company in construction, and all went very smoothly. Our order was missing a few elements, but this was very quickly rectified by Steve. End result a lovely garden which is already giving us immense pleasure. So thanks to our discovery of Woodblocx and their brilliant innovation for raised beds and matching seating area. • The product is great, second purchase. On both occasions their courier has not been great, the first time I was just a communication issue, no updates or contact as promised. Sturdy but poor Finish

• Hi there for the price and finish of the wood I thought this was quite expensive, from the website the finish looks almost like a kitchen cabinet finish and when I saw it once unpacking the pallet I was disappointed also the lack of Liner with the titled pond kit was surprising as if no liner then what makes this different from a raised bed kit yet named pond kit? Subsequently I have seen there is a note to say liner supplied separately but it’s not that obvious. Also the dowels should come in different sizes to save the time trimming them down, luckily I had a pair of industrial cutters which cut them neatly.

• I tried many planter and pot before I found woodblocx. The design service is very helpful and easy to use. I would like to buy more soon.

Raised pond

• Pre-sales advice v good, delivery as stated, pallet delivered to garage. Relatively simple/easy to build. Included extra pieces. Looks good and sturdy. Suggestion for improvement, 1) instructions send specific pond info rather than just raised bed. 2) show Lego style layer by layer construction for specific size ordered (rather than a generic size). Definitely recommend company and product.

• It was easy to place an order, which was despatched on time. I was able to track it easily. On arrival it was well packaged. However, we the found we were some components short and so we’re unable to complete the build. However on ringing, the replacement parts were sent out and received two days later, again well packaged.

Very happy with circular raised bed.

• Great quality product. Easy to assemble in next to no time. The pond liner states its only for their small ponds but we had more than enough left over to line another pond if required. Easy to cut down with a craft knife Delivery was 4 days earlier than expected but delivery company had called ahead of time to arrange and managed to get a convenient date and time for all concerned. We have previously used wooden sleepers in the garden but would definitely recommend WoodBlocX to anyone wanting raised beds or raised ponds.

Absolutely brilliant planters, so easy to install.

• Ordering was very easy. They arrived on the day expected. Delivery driver was professional and although he tried his best to get the pallet through a 500 year old side passage gate, it was about 50cm too narrow. He was as frustrated and disappointed as I was. But he did try to save me the job of barrowing them through to the back garden. Hey ho! Assembly was very easy. I can only describe it to assembling wooden Lego bricks, the only difference being you hammer in the pins as you go. Having watched the videos, the instructions were very easy to follow however would like to have had a printed version rather than sent electronically as when phone battery died it was frustrating. Even worse as I was working in rain and was trying to keep my phone dry. I'm female. I read instructions!!! Hahaha!! Please consider providing customers with the option of a hard copy of the assembly instructions! I'm absolutely delighted with the finished planters. They look stunning. I will be returning as a customer soon to buy more and I will request printed instructions to be sent with my next planter order. Thank you.

• I have been really impressed with WoodblocX from start to finish. It began with some really helpful answers on the website chat to a whole bunch of questions. Then Callum worked up a design based on my sketch and measurements, and answered more questions. When I placed the order, delivery was fast and helpful: the driver placed the pallet exactly where we asked. Construction is proving very simple. The instructions are detailed but clear. I am about half way through the build - my challenge is levelling the uneven ground in my garden.

Simplistic, Stylish, Brilliance......

• First the actual bed.....never I have I built something so stylish with such ease that looks absolutely stunning and has attracted so many comments from everyone that passes. Second the service....having seen this on the web I wanted to make some slight adjustments to the actual dimensions and from the initial email I sent I have received quality information at every stage of the design changes, from prompt answers to questions to detailed schematics how it would look and its build make up, and when it arrived very detailed but simple to follow instructions layer by layer of the build. Finally having decided that we where to install a raised bed and after searching the internet I found this design at the right price, so much so, that I designed and built the garden up for this to stand on as previously it sloped towards the house. the two side beds were an 2nd thought addition otherwise I would have had adding them to the original design. Finally again, I am not a builder while neighbours and others have witnessed my efforts on this project, it was but not until the bed was added 'the crowning glory' then the compliments flooded in. • I saw these raised bed in a gardening magazine. I ordered one on the Saturday and it was delivered on the Tuesday. What a service !! I was a bit daunted, but the instructions were very easy to follow, and I managed to construct it all on my own. If I can do it at 70 then you can too. Love love love it

Good product, excellent instructons, easy to erect

• My order was delivered on due date, everything was complete, the instructions sent on line were very good especially the diagram showing my particular raised bed, the only problem I had was that the instructions said to use sharp sand as a base but did not say how thick, I used roughly 1 cm and this turned out to be too much as the first layer kept sinking into the sand when fitting the second layer and capping, leaving gaps between the blocks. I did find the wood selection of some of the blocks was rather poor with very large knots and splits, this was not a problem for me as only the front face is showing so I could select the best blocks but could be a problem if all faces were visible.

Great Quality, Surprisingly Simple

• The ordering was simple, but when I received the plans, it was obvious that the build design was unique to my measurements. The kit arrived promptly and the instructions were easy to follow. The only problem that I had was driving the very large pegs into a subsoil of heavy clay and boulders. Technical support was amazing and extremely quick to replace one slightly defective part and I'm very pleased and proud of the large raised that I have been able to build and plat in less than a week.

Usual great service from this company

• This is my fourth purchase from WoodBlocx. Delivery is really quick. Courier calls the day before delivery. The product itself is ideal for me. No heavy lifting. Easy to put together. The only negative on this particular project was that the build instructions missed out on the placement of one of the dowels on each tier of block. Having built a few projects already I noticed early on that the structure would not be stable without these dowels in place. As usual there are loads of extra dowels supplied so no big problem. I used the design service for this project and found this process very easy

Simple and elegant with good service

• Im really happy i went with WoodBlocX. I chose it because i’m not really good with diy tasks and found it so simple to build, the blocks are just like fitting lego together really and the instructions are easy to follow. Also the product takes away the need for cutting, concreting, drilling making life even simpler. The final result is amazing! The overall cost i think is comparable to railway sleepers in my opinion but with less hassle than dleepers If you are going to use it then try their design service its really helpful. I would highly recommend

Could be better if they listened to their customers

• Second order from them and it’s hut and miss. They use a hopeless delivery partner who on both occasions have been useless and delayed. I passed this feedback to them but they don’t seem that interested. Shame as with a bit of care they could be really good.

A quality product that is consistent every time

• This my 5th project using Woodblocx. The timber is carefully machined to ensure a gods and accurate installation. Despite the excellent bespoke fitting instructions (one size definitely does not fit all) the product is quite forgiving but as my old father-in-law used to say - Start right; End right. Plea see bear I. Mind that every so often they have to use timber from another tree so colour, texture and appearance can differ wildly - but for me that is what adds to the rustic charm. As per usual the delivery was on time and there were no missing parts (extras actually).

Bespoke design service

• Having awkward shaped paving prevented us from purchasing off the shelf raised beds. The design service offered by WoodBlocX and completed by Harry was fantastic. We weren't sure of our height requirements so designs at various heights were drawn allowing us to decide on the height that suited our budget and requirements. After accepting the design, a link is provided to easily order and pay. Delivery was on a pallet on the required day. A colour coded plan was provided which make building the bespoke shape easy. The beds look fantastic in our garden and we have now had further designs drawn to complete our garden in the future.

Excellent again

• This is our second time ordering from WoodBlocX, and we would definitely use them again. Ordering process is very easy thanks to the comprehensive information on the website. Delivery was on time and all parts were there as ordered. Whilst the kits are never as easy to put together as the videos suggest, I think that’s mostly a combination of our garden not being level (which therefore requires a lot of time and effort to sort out), and my personal skill level! The whole process, from starting to remove the turf through to completion was about 5 hours. Now they’re in, they look great - high quality material - and we can’t wait to get planting.

Custom designed multi-level raised beds.

• Custom designed raised beds, delivered promptly, securely packaged and all complete (with a few spares left over. Building is very straightforward and ended up being a one man job. Do spend time getting the base level before building it makes the whole job easier. Finished product is excellent and something for us to be proud of. Now we only have to fill it and sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labour.

Really nice product

• I ordered a raised corner, curved planter. It arrived within two days and all the instructions (provided on line) were clear and easy to follow. As long as you spend time getting the bottom layer of wood blocks absolutely level and square the rest is easy to build the flower bed and very satisfying to put together.

A good product generally. End result looks good too!

• The only reason I rated a 4 star was because we had issues with several items of wood blocX specifically on the very top of the two large raised beds we had purchased. The wood had large splits throughout which would have caused water to penetrate & rot quickly. It also was badly aligned & cut incorrectly. However I must say the service was brilliant. We had replacements fairly quickly. Only problem was we then took far longer to complete the overall task than we had anticipated! Also when you get to the end,(& in our case at retirement age we felt pretty tired) we just wanted to celebrate the achievement of making the two very large planters for ourselves. We couldn't because they were both incomplete, until the remaining pieces arrived. So it sort of took the enjoyment away from our project! Beware it does take longer to generally build, especially in our case because the area was on a slight slope. Also the instructions are not very clear about placing the metal L plates at the last level. You must align half under two screws & half over the other two (hope it makes sense), otherwise the top edging will not fit properly. But any one with common sense would see this & it is easy to remedy especially if you have the full BlocX kit bag with the right tools.

A pleased customer

• From working out what would fit next to my flower bed to a neighbour assembling my raised bed the process was well organised. The colour coded plans of each level were excellent. The only slight problem was caused by the carrier delivering my pallet a day earlier than was agreed and simply leaving it in my front garden.

Great Product, Delayed Delivery

• A great product that I have used twice. Works really well, the raised beds are solid, well made and look good. Dispatched quickly and accurately by WoodBlocX. Unfortunately their delivery agent missed the preferred delivery date by 4 days, on the second delivery, leading to some frustrations with the installation.
